is there such thing as an unselfish act? ask yourself, if a person donates 10,000 dollars to a school anonymously with no connection to the school and no criminal intentions, could this be considered a selfless act? is a selfless act considered something where you, yourself gain nothing from the act itself but others do? yet how can something be considered selfless if everyone gets something out of it? if i were to donate $1 million to a hospital without getting any kind of recondition and having no intent on getting anything from the process, it cant really be considered selfless because i am gaining something anyhow. no matter what kind of act you do, you will gain an emotional reward or punishment. i would have been rewarded with either pride, or happiness, or self satisfaction etc. could only a truly uncaring and emotionless person succeed in preforming a selfless act? what is your definition of a selfless act?

Happy Late Mom Day

mothers day was a fun day. full of NBC specials and desserts, its a nice holiday for me. where as you don't get out of school or work its still a great time to get together. when it comes to presents for my mom I always beat my brothers, they giving her some last minute hand made card and I a painting i worked on 2 weeks in advanced specifically for her. I don't like to brag, but, it was awesome. and I made chocolate mousse for dessert only to be accompanied by, BONBONS! how excited could I have gotten???? It was a good mothers day this year. pretty goood......

why Hugh Laurie is the best

sexy beast, hot stuff, cool-ass, love eyes, and long tan and handsome are all terms used to describe Hugh Laurie. the British actor most commonly know for playing the american S.O.B. doctor Gregory House in House has also been in the following movies:

• Stuart Little 2

• Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows

• Maybe Baby
• Stuart Little
• Black Adder Back and Forth

also not listed but interesting was when Hugh Laurie played an evil henchman in 101 Dalmatians for Cruella.

Anyway, this king of kings is the best actor i have ever come to see. he describes in a few magazine (in his real and gorgeous accented voice) how difficult it is to use an american accent for almost every single movie he has ever been in. where as it may be hard, he certainly does an amazing job. Also to the public, i strongly recommend seeing the family guy episode including a small section of House animated, in the episode business guy. Hugh Laurie plays a role in House that may appear as a normal doctor, but after a few more episodes you see much more deeply into a character that has multiple issues and emotion struggles, but even deeper you see a yearning to understand things he can not, such as love and kindness. following his closest friends and seeking the rejection of others only to satisfy his need for attention (probably due to his discovery of the fact that his real birth father was his overbearing strict and cold fathers best friend) House is a truly ingenious man, intellectual to the extent that he is not only the best diagnostic doctor in the world (on TV but still) but in the episode in his current season (6) he shows that by taking a break from medicine to deal with his pain killer addiction and leg pain, you can see that he is good at everything, after only one day he ,asters the art of cooking and impresses multiple people.

China tea sets with the Simpsons

Digging through old stuff I found my old China Tea set, given to me as a child by a beloved aunt. its small, but very beautiful. i'm cleaning it while I watch the Simpsons, and it just so happens Homer is drinking tea, therefore I must be psychic. I love the taste of chai tea, its so flavorful and sweet. to all those out there, you must try chamomile mango herb tea!
