BOOKS

God i don't have ANY time to read anymore! I haven't read a single book besides school books in over a year and that is just SO SAD i mean come on! i used to read like 15 books in a summer! geez i want to just get a good book and sit in bed and read it and just go crazy. Sweet Tart reads all these awesome books and i want to read like she does because shes a super smarty when it comes to English stuff. man i miss books. they used to be my friends but now they are distant memories. (sigh)

I don’t do confrontations. If push comes to shove, and I become insulted or made out to be a fool, I will most definitely speak my mind. Even in less hostile situations, I’m not afraid to say what I think. But I’ve never been one to enjoy making a scene. Some people critique the way I deal with things, saying I don’t have the guts to be wrong. It’s not that. I call it going with the flow. Why make a mess of things, when instead you can get your way and make others happy? I just feel that so many things around me have gone wrong because of the way people handle things. I’m not perfect, and I’ve made my mistakes too. But I just feel so much could be gained and so many hostile situations and messes could be avoided if more people learned how to compromise and not be defensive or confrontational. Food for thought :)

Frenemies

You know those people, who when you tell them good news, don’t seem that excited for you? And they joke around with you and say things like, “I hate you!”, but you sort of know they’re only half-joking? Frenemies. You can’t live with ‘em, it’d be a lot easier to live without ‘em. They seem to be nice and and fun to be around, until they strike. It could be a not-so-well concealed backhanded comment, or a subtle insult. Frenemies slowly break down the walls of your self-esteem.

Don’t let them get away with what they’re trying to do. If they insult you, call them on it. However, don’t let things turn confrontational. Just say, “Jeesh that was sort of mean.” Don’t egg them on by becoming vulnerable either. Or just stay nice. No matter the rude things they may say or do, stay positive and keep smiling as if they haven’t done anything mean. They’ll soon come to see they’re wasting their time, or they’ll get bored, or (on the off-chance) they’ll actually begin to respect you. I don’t really know why I’m writing this. I guess I’ve just seen so many people deal with frenemies in the totally wrong way. Don’t become rude straight back, and don’t let them get away with what they’re doing. Just a little word to the wise.

It may have come across as though I dislike Hugh Laurie. In fact, this is not true. I simply enjoy bugging Bonbon. He is very smexy, and a wonderful actor. I have only recently begun to watch the show House, but his character already strikes me as very dynamic and deep. Still...

why Hugh Laurie is the best

sexy beast, hot stuff, cool-ass, love eyes, and long tan and handsome are all terms used to describe Hugh Laurie. the British actor most commonly know for playing the american S.O.B. doctor Gregory House in House has also been in the following movies:

also not listed but interesting was when Hugh Laurie played an evil henchman in 101 Dalmatians for Cruella.

Anyway, this king of kings is the best actor i have ever come to see. he describes in a few magazine (in his real and gorgeous accented voice) how difficult it is to use an american accent for almost every single movie he has ever been in. where as it may be hard, he certainly does an amazing job. Also to the public, i strongly recommend seeing the family guy episode including a small section of House animated, in the episode business guy. Hugh Laurie plays a role in House that may appear as a normal doctor, but after a few more episodes you see much more deeply into a character that has multiple issues and emotion struggles, but even deeper you see a yearning to understand things he can not, such as love and kindness. following his closest friends and seeking the rejection of others only to satisfy his need for attention (probably due to his discovery of the fact that his real birth father was his overbearing strict and cold fathers best friend) House is a truly ingenious man, intellectual to the extent that he is not only the best diagnostic doctor in the world (on TV but still) but in the episode in his current season (6) he shows that by taking a break from medicine to deal with his pain killer addiction and leg pain, you can see that he is good at everything, after only one day he ,asters the art of cooking and impresses multiple people.
